Hi everyone!
I am looking into buying a Bougainvillea tree but the particular tree has a flower around half the size of the trunk. Ive seen Bougainvilleas with tiny flowers. Is it possible to reduce the flowers size in the same way you reduce the leaves size with defoliation?

I have never read anything on reducing flowers on trees. I don't think it's possible.

Everything I have read says it can't be done.

the only thing that can be done is reduce their number of them, size is a genetic trait that cant be changed.
