(Who just said that? ) And has science not proven that a gentle, loving voice, or the sound of classical music can have a beneficial effect on the health and vigour of a plant?

Hm.. Guess will have to agree to disagree here.
Because actually.. No it has not been prooven that they influence eachother. I actually have tried to find out whether certain plants ni africa can warn eachother that animals are on the prowl, so the plants can change their fysiology to taste bad. Result: There is no such system & the way the plants'fysiology works makes it impossible to do too!
As for gentle voices etc: People that talk to their plants or play music typically send more time looking at the plant, therefor noticing that the plant may have insects on it, of is in need of water. That is the mechanism behind plants being healthier. Not some kind of psychological interaction.

Hi Jelle,
Sorry, sometimes I have a hard time expressing what I mean. What I am referring to is *energy*...the force that permeates and surrounds well, everything...like the energy that holds your table together. Is this what is referred to as Quantum Physics? I saw a science documentary on how the exchange of energy from one healthy human to another sick human can actually improve the healing process. It would make sense then that we can transfer that kind of *positive* energy to our plants...don't you think? And, to a certain degree, plants would be able exchange energy with us and other plants?
Here is an interesting article I found that you might like although, it doesn't quite go into the *energy* aspect of it, I think the implication is there. Let me know what you think!
