First of all,
I would like to thanks this really interesting and friendly website.
I like the layout and the advice a lot.
So 2 days ago I was walking like every morning in front of my little florist
shop, and in the middle of all this green I saw 5 pretty bonsai, he was selling them really cheap, so I though it was a good opportunity to start my interest in the bonsai world.
Now I have been looking a lot around internet, but I am not 100% sure about the specie.
I would say it is a Buxus as the leave are dark glossy green and they feel quit strong.
It could also be a fukien tea tree, but it seems that the tea tree has some longer leaves.
Could be nice if I can have an expert advice.
I really like his shape, I think the main shape is already done, but if you have any advice to give me, you are more than welcome.
I guess I will shape my next bonsai by buying a young one, but I really couldn't resist to that one!
Cheers.
Guillaume

Thanks you but I don't think it's a Jade tree. As the Jade tree is a lot different.
The jade tree leaves are a lot thicker, and the trunk a lot different.
Anyway I will wait for different opinion because you might be right!

It's definately not a Jade. I think it's a sagaretia (Bird Plum)

Thank you all for your help,
so it could be a sagaretia or a Tea tree, the only difference on my is that the leaf are really short and curved and also really dark green.
Maybe I will have more clue in spring if he is doing flowers or not...
At least I know it is not a buxus, so I can keep it indoor right?
