How to revive my bonsai

Please help!
I was given my fist bonsai just over a week ago as a gift.
By accident I left the tree in our conservatory and it now looks very much worse for wear. Have I killed it?
What can I do to try and rescue my tree from the state it is in?
I have attached pictures to indicate what the tree looks like. So far all I have done is remove it from the conservatory and spray with a water-mister.
I'd really like to save this tree if I can.
Thanks

To be honest, I dont think this tree is gonna make it unfortunately...
Keep the soil moist, but not wet. And wait.. Perhaps Im wrong!

As long as the trunk under the bark is green, there is still hope, but I think your bonsai has gone to heaven..

howdy,
it's hard to see but the buds on the end of the branches still look green.
i'd agree with Youri, srape a branch or the trunk with your fingernail if its green it's not dead yet...defoliate, keep in indirect sunlight and water it as you have been. Best of luck

Dude, don't just mist it, do something! This tree is not dead yet! Have you been feeding it regularly? It might just be a simple nitrogen deficiency. There might also be something wrong with your roots. Carefully remove your tree from the pot and have a look. If any of your roots are "slimy" you need to get rid of them, fast! Cut them off. Trees have recovered from much worse. Then, if your climate is relatively mild, place it in the ground outside to recover, and don't put it back in the pot until it starts growing new shoots.(Once it has recovered, you can put it back in its bonsai pot as long as the pot has a hole in the bottom. Fill the pot with gritty, well-draining soil.) If your roots look fine, and you have definitely fed and watered it correctly, take it to your local garden center and see if they have an all-purpose insecticide and fungicide. It might be infected with something. Good luck!
