Hi Peter from Australia here. We are currently in summer and I have repotted 3 trident maples a few months ago. Currently the leaves are turning brown on the tips. I keep water up to the tree and have them in a plastic bonsai pots. They are about 30cm in height and at early development. Can you suggest what the problem may be?

Looks like the kind of thing happens in summer, hot and dry, mine do this most years. They need plenty of water all summer sometimes twice or more every day, I would put it in shade, this should help. I would remove any leaves that are dead, Otherwise just leave it .
