Hello all, I'm new to the hobby...
A short while ago, I bought a Weeping Willow 名媛直播 Shoot off of Amazon, and for three weeks, it was thriving and doing really well. A cat took notice of it and ate all the leaves. Since then, it seems to be doing worse and worse. The trunk/bark also seems to be turning a sort of orange-ish color. No new branches or leaves have been seen sprouting since the cat ate the initial growth.
Is this too late to save??
Thank you for your time.

I have heard that people do business from "bonsai seeds". But this is the first time I hear about I hear about people selling "bonsai cuttings". What an inventive way to make business .
Just to be clear, you bought a stick, nothing else. It has nothing to do with bonsai. However you can make it into bonsai given time and devotion just as you can turn any seed, cutting, seadling, sapling or nurcery plant into a bonsai.
With that beeing said. Willows are amazing at striking roots from almost any size fresh wood. I would not be supriced if it throw a new branch come spring.

That's unfortunate, you really should have researched before buying, that's something you can get for free, just a stomp.
It looks dry to me, I don't know if it will come back, just keep an eye on it...
