Happy to find a proper link with professionals on bonsai.?
Yesterday I bought a redwood. As an amateur they told me that it’s an indoor bonsai and after one day inside my place its condition is like on the photos I uploaded.?
Before suggesting me to put it outdoors, let me first inform you that ?I live in Crete, Chania, Greece. During summer period the average temperature is 30-34 Celsius.
Indoors there is sufficient sun luminocity and the temperature is stable all the time on 24 Celsius.
What would you suggest me to do taking into consideration the photos I uploaded. Thank u.

Redwoods come from California, around San Francisco, and it gets pretty hot there, too.Maiclaren wrote: Hi,

Mostly you want to fit the tree to the environment where it evolved. Redwoods grow in the shade of other redwoods so partial shade outdoors woukd ve exactly what it wants. And, water every day, maybe twice if it is real hot.?

The trees likes to grow in partial shade outdoors and just love water. Place it on a tray that commects drainage water and water right before the tray is empty.

Ok, first part that matched with all suggestions (outdoors & shade) is accomplished.
However, in terms of watering, I have heard different opinions.
Take into consideration that it has two pots, one decorative and the interior pot wih some wholes at the bottom.
Others say to remove the exterior pot and water it daily. No water must remain in the pot. This is why i have to remove it.
Others say the opposite. Ok, daily watering, and all the time baptized in a?water pot with some water inside, not full.
What's your opinion? Daily watering and keep it out of the exterior?pot, or leave as it is and replenish the decorative pot maintaining it with water all the time??

The important part to understand is that Metasequoia must never dry out.
