Hello all,
This is my first time asking for help directly anywhere like this so I hope this isnt a common problem.
My tree has been doing well since i got it, It has good amounts of water sunlight and foof etc I truly think i take care of that aspect of it well.? The problem is recently this brownish growth that i think is some form of mould or fungus has taken over the pot and the rim of the bottom of its trunk. I tried purchasing an antifungal plant spray and it makes the growth dissapate when sprayed on it directly but it grows back daily now. Its rate of growth has been increasing and now it seems to actually be harming my tree as it is loosing leaves rapidly and has stagnated growth. Any help or advice on how to get rid of this disease and save my tree would be greatly appreciated.

Without a picture or any other information it is impossible to even start to assess what you have. What species? is it inside? how are you watering and what country are you in? Stop trying to treat something that you do not know for sure what it is.

The green on the surface is where it has been too wet., scrape it off and be much more careful how you water. And get it outside.
