I just recently got back to the united states from thailand and i brought back a bonsai tree. as soon as i got it home i put it in my bathroom with a humidifier on and the heat turned up. it went the first few days without the correct lighting since i had to buy the proper lamp for it. within the first few days i noticed that the leaves started to look dry and were losing color. i looked up what it could be and they said that it might be because its getting too much heat. so i moved the tree further away from the heater and since then I've had the proper lighting on my tree for the appropriate amount every day and its still looking a little on the dry side. I've been misting the leaves twice daily in hopes to keep the leaves moist. I'm new to all of this and could definitely use a little help

Do you know what species it is? What is the humidity level in your bathroom?

I'm pretty sure its a type of boxwood. and i keep the humidity level at or around 50%

I think humidity is the issue here. In Thailand it rarelly drop below 75% percent.
