Hi there, I'm new to the world of bonsai and was gifted 2 bonsai recently. One looks like it just needs to be left for sure (one on the right of the picture) the other one looks good and healthy. It even has fruits. I was wondering what I could do with the left hand side one as it was left to grow without in a way that has no real prominent trunk to it. Is a style that I can utilise this or dose it need to be sorted out if so how?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

At some point it needs to be reduced to one trunk line. But first you need to learn how to keep your trees growing healthy in your conditions. So I would recomend to grow it wild for a full year. Just prune back to two or three pair of leafs a few times during that year. Meanwhile study the tree and the art of bonsai. Try to vision how the tree would look in the long run, what options there are.
When it is time to prune, you will know what way you want to go.

I have heard that the coarses here at bonsaiempire is quite good.
I, myself, has learned most skills by watching youtube and atending workshops with more experienced bonsai growers.
The local conections cannot be neglected. The hobbyists around you know what works at your place. No youtube channel, cource or book can tell you that. So go find a club around you and pay extra attention to old and experienced artists.
