pinus pinea I couldn't find any information about the pine species. Can anyone help?

Pinus pinea or Stone Pine is native to British isles.

It is concidered a subtropical species. The exact natural distribution is hard to determine since it has been planted in many places over many years and has been naturalized there. However one of the common names "Italian stone pine" may give a hint. It thrives in classic mediteranean conditions and grows close to that Coast in spain, France, greece and turkey.
