I am going to let it sit and fill in. My question is should I cut the height of the tree and length of branches or cut some branches off. Will doing that and keeping up maintenance ( in your opinion ) get that tree in bonsai ready shape. Thanks in advance. Stuart

Good choice to let it sit. Actually if the tree was hardy to my area I would plant it in ground and let it thicken up a few years. I do not see any reason for doing any pruning.
