Hi all,
I am very new to bonsai trees. I have had this chinese elm for about 2 months, and it has started growing what looks like mold on the roots. Additionally, there are a few white marks on the trunk.
From what I have read, this should be harmless and I can remove it with a soft brush, however I am unsure.
I have attached some photos; please can someone confirm whether this is mold and if so what can I do to remove and prevent it?
Thank you!
