It certanly look bad. Branches with only yellow needles are dead for sure. Branches with green needles still on are alive. I think I can see 2 healthy growth points still, so there are still hope.
I would put it in a shady place away from any frost. If the growth points extends in spring you can slowly transfer to more and more sun. Other than that, just keep it watered.
Did you put the wires on and created that mowement yourself? Did you do any pruning on the same time? Did you repot?
The tree has some severe wire marks. Those will never dissapear. Overall a tree I would not concider buying myself.

The first 2 pictures, with the (plastic?) cut off bottle looks like a completely different tree them the one in the last two pictures. How much time is there between these pictures? Also, the wire marks don’t seem to be there in the last two pictures?

"Recently bought", makes me think this is two different trees. Pic 1 and 2 is a lost case. Pic 3 and 4 may be possible to rescue.

yes these are two trees. 1-2, 3-4. first and second pic is alrdy weak when it came. i did repot it. roots were wrap in plastic and animal maneur. roots were saggy alrdy when i opened it. so i tried saving it by repotting and left it in a shady location. pic 3-4 was well when it came, it was alrdy wired that way and twisted by seller. all i did was repot it. and lastly i did pull out the yellow needles on the frist tree. i also scrape a little on the trunk and i can see green. i put in inside a clear plastic to control humidity. all i have to do now is wait for miracle. i bought it for more or less $27 each
