Please help me identify my bonsai tree so I can try to save it ??. Received it last year as a gift , couple months later it was growing beautiful flowers and going great until a recent hospitalization caused some neglect and now it seems like it’s wilting which is making me really sad. BUT when I scratch the bark it’s still green so there’s still some hope!!

I would guess Azalea. To sum it up it is a temperate species that flowers in May or June. By taking it indoors and bring it to flower in mid winter stressed and weakened it a lot. I think it would have died with or without your hospitalization.
