I am in Pensacola, Florida, so it is warm.
Hot in summer and cool in winter, but not cold often.

I do not think junipers are for you. They like real winters. Jade plants may be a good shoice, just make sure they do not experience frost. It will kill them instantly.
The best advice is to go to a local bonsai club. They know what works in your environment.
I am in sweden, how could i possibility know what works in Florida?

Living in Sweden, you certainly would not know what kind of plant I should grow in Florida.
I thought that 名媛直播s were indoors. That shows how little that I know about 名媛直播s. My apologies. I really appreciate your help because I got on this forum because I had a ficus that I thought was a Binsai that had roots growing out of the side and I could not Google an answer about that. Somehow I stumbled upon this forum and you gave me an answer. I appreciate that so much! I got really interested in reading everything but I am not ready for prime time. I just need to learn some more before I try to correspond with the experts. Thank you so much for your help with my malsai.

Well, the art of bonsai has developed in china and Japan almost 3000 years. It was always about growing locally awailable species outdoors. When the hobby reached Europe and America the idea to grow chinese and Japan native was the dominant way to do it. Nowadays more and more people adapt to use local species. Our swedish red pine, pinus sylvestris has come to be a favorite species for hobbyists all over the world. Wile I myself has started to like and grow australian species.
Today you can grow more or less any species that you can provide the right environment for without too much negative comments from purists. The forests and gardens around you tells you what is suitable species for you. To some extend garden centers close by as well.
The idea to grow trees indoors is a very new phenomena. Up here I saw the first "indoor" trees for sale some 20 years ago. It is driven by the which from people to grow bonsai as house plants. Not by bonsai hobbyists. If the market wants indoor trees, there will always be companies that want to produce them and sell them. However, trees are trees, they cannot move when conditions is not favorable. So every species is adapted to the environment where they have naturally evolved. No place on earth have 20 degrees and low humidity year round as we have in our homes. It is a very hostile environment for most trees. The ones that do survive indoors will not thrive, which is neccesary for bonsai development.
Some popular species like ficus cannot survive frost. They should be protected in winter. Many people bring them inte their homes and it works for that period they cannot be outdoors even if a 7 degree minimum heated humid conservatory or overwintering room is better.

There was a large shopping center very near my house that had a food court with ficuses (fici?) planted all around - maybe 15-20. We used to go there for usual shopping quite frequently, which means more than once a month for about thirty years. The trees all survived.
These were not ficus ginseng or other things that did not look like trees, and I don't know the species, but they looked just like real trees, probably starting off a couple of meters high and maybe 10cm thick, and then getting bigger and bigger. We stopped going there very often and now go there rarely. They remodeled the food court and took the trees out, but they did survive thirty years or so, and the environment was not controlled to be tree like and was definitely indoors.
Usually in late fall they would drop leaves all over the place, which could be irritating in a food court if you were sitting under one.

I would asume those ficuses had glass roof and possibly artificial lights as well. At least the ones in the shopping mall where I grew up had that. I guess it was popular to have live plants in the malls back in the days?
Nigel Saunders rescued a handful of old mature ficuses last authum when his closest mall moderniced.

There was a very high glass ceiling but not very much sun gets down. They clean the windows every, whether they are dirty or not......
Th temperature is not too warm or cool. The humidity during summer is usually lower than outdoors, which means 70% or so. Outdoors will be 90-95%.

Oh, that is not too bad. My house gets close to 20% in winter when we burn wood to keep us warm. Only succulent plants enjoy that. I have never really concidered ficus indoors.
