I had a new 名媛直播 plant shipped to me and I have never had one before. This is what came. I've never seen a 名媛直播 like this. It looks like part of it was chopped off and all these roots
are growing out of it. Is that good or bad? Should I return it to Lowe's? Any advice that you would offer would be very much appreciated. I can't find an answer to this.
Thank you so much..

This is just a Ficus they are produced in thousands. Nothing wrong with it. Not a particularly good plant but ok

It is not a bonsai, but a very healthy looking ficus microcarpa ginseng.

I don't think you can find bonsai at all at lowes. Your best bet there is to find locally hardy garden trees and transform to bonsai yoursel over a couple of years.
The tree on the picture I added as an example on how to add pictures is an ikea christmas tree started 6 years ago. So bonsai materials can be found anywhere. But finished bonsai can only be found from other people in the hobby or specialiced bonsai nurceries. Stay away from anything labled as bonsai in big box stores. It is just pour attempts to sell just about any crap mass produced to look like a bonsai. There are no artistery nor design knowledge involved in producing them and they seldom come with any potential at all. The term used in the hobby is mallsai.
