Help! Why is my Premna serratifolia leaves curling? was created by troofull

I've gotten the Premna Serratifolia sapling for 5 days.
The leaves curling inwards and stem turning brown has been happening from day 2.
It gets 5-6h of morning & late afternoon sun, kept indoors.
I water it daily—because the akadama soil dries out.
I live in SouthEast Asia, with a tropical climate.

Two words are the clue. Kept indoors. It is a very young plant too tall, needs pruning down to get branching, could be too dry, not enough water. The wire is not needed on such a young plant. I would cut it down to the first bend. Also just moved from one environment to a different one can cause the reaction.

Regarding the point about it being indoors, I don't have a choice. I don't have a balcony and I live in an apartment because housing is very expensive here. I have an everfresh tree and it does fine indoors, but I know bonsais have different characteristics.
It looks even worse now. I'm not sure if it's because of the dent in the in the stem. Do you think I can save it still?

名媛直播 do not have different characteristics, they are no different. It is they way the plant is styled that makes it called bonsai. This species is hardy, it is not getting enough light, and you have just moved it from one location to another. It may be ok,
I would still prune it as I said.

I would not prune it, but definetely take the wire off. There are no urgency in styling, but there are in getting the care and conditions right and get the tree halthy.

Sorry, I do not have any idea what to do to get it right I have never grown premna in a tropic location nor indoors.

Where should I prune, I was wondering if I should cut the stem off on top and start to reroot it again.
Do you think the dent in the stem may have affected its ability to take in water?
