Hello!

I just got my very first plant ever (Ficus 名媛直播 I'm pretty sure) and i'm a complete beginner. My main questions as of now are regarding the watering and pruning as i don't know what i'm doing. Also I was told I need to feed it but I'm unsure what to feed it and when. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Looks like a really nice specimen you found as a first tree :)

First start to read the care guide here:
www.bonsaiempire.com/tree-species/ficus

Do not think about pruning, repotting or styling just yet. Just make sure to do the basic care to get it thriving. Once you got your care and conditions right you can start regularly pruning the top growth back to 1 or two leafs. When the tree has filled in and got very dense you proboably have had the tree a few years you should be ready to style it to your final vision.

Good luck.

Can someone please help me regarding my tree?
It's a ginseng ficus bonsai.
Recently lost all its leaves (we moved it from one apartment to another).
It was also previously in a pot with no oxygen (no drainage).
We have since then cleaned out all the soil from its roots and planted it in a new pot with a drainage hole as well as new soil.
Can someone please let me know whether you think it was being overwatered, root rot, underwatered, or what not?
The good news is, we have some new growth.
