i piked the small leader and left the second to leave some foiliage on the tree it will most likely come off in the future..too early to pik a style as of yet.
as for the pots my dad keeps finding these little things he knows i like shohin so he picks them up for me.they are always 5$ and under :blink: i never have that kinda luck

Haha we have pots near to where i live but Japanese pots are really expensive

Are you considering growing one of them out just sitting in a big pot, and letting it go to create a massive trunc over a few years? These look nice and well-rooted. Think you may be on to something there!
