I bought some sakura bonsai seeds online but can't seem to get then to germinate. I've tried several scarification and stratification methods, but none of the seeds germinate. I'm beginning to wonder if I was sold dead seeds...
What is a reliable website I can get good quality seeds from without paying an arm and a leg?

There are no such thing as bonsai seeds. Just get regular seeds at a fraction of the cost. Or even better, locate a mature sakura tree in your surroundings, go there in early summer, pick some berries for a nice snack and keep the seeds for growing your own tree. That is totally for free.
