Just like I said before I don’t know how long this ones tree has been outside I don’t even know what type of bonsai treat this is what is in pretty rough shape. It has been pretty cold. I live in Columbus, Ohio and United States and it’s been about 20°F.

It looks dead, apart from being extremely dry, it is impossible to identify the species. Could be a Crassula if so then it is dead, as it is not hardy, and it is not bonsai.

I think similarly .. can be an Crassula ovata or an Portulacaria afra, not a 名媛直播 it`s a poorly cared plant.

It is definetely a dead crassula ovata. Not at all a bonsai. Since it is not a tree it is not sap coming out of it. It is a succulent and what you think is sap is actually the water holding tisue that has exploded by frost and are now pouring out of the plant.

Hi, I'm new here. I just set up my account to participate in this forum but I have no clue how to navigate here. So here I am replying to a similar post of my issue with my Jade Bonsi. A friend gave it to me back in April for a birthday gift because I have had a thriving container vegetable garden on my apartment patio and I told her that I always wanted a Bonsi tree. But she sprung it on me and I didn't have the time to research about them before hand,

especially this beautiful little Jade tree. But the weather here in South Carolina is very mild. So it's been outside growing all crazy over the place. I was in the process of getting a book about it and repotting it but it dipped down past freezing a couple of nights before I brought it in. I have been putting it back outside during the day in full sun but no where near freezing. But the beautiful green leaves have turned all brown. And I don't know if it will recover and can I help it? I noticed a couple of tiny green leaves so I'm hoping/praying it's trying to survive. Any advice from this poster or anybody else sure would be appreciated. I'm going to attach a couple of pics for reference. Thanks in advance for the help. Please log in or register to see it.

This plant is dead, even allowing for the colour cast in the picture it is shrivelled and way beyond recovery
