What's the best bonsai for me?

I live in Australia, I would have the bonsai by a window that's is constantly open all year but has mesh on it so it blocks about 40% of the sunlight. My room can get hot and stuffy with the Australian sun. I can water it any amount of times per week. It needs to be ok with being moved about, I am careful but I have to bring it home every 5 weeks roughly where it sits on a table that gets roughly 8 hours of sunlight through big windows so it is quite intense light however I can change the place of it or add mesh to reduce the sunlight it gets. I always tell people to go for native species or at least locally hardy species and grow them outdoors. The art of bonsai is development in Japan with native trees outdoors.
