I'll be bringing my tropicals in soon and am wondering whether they would benefit from grow lights? Altho I keep them near a south-facing window, I'm not sure they get enough light in the winter (I live in MD).

Two years ago I brought the tropicals in and was not able to put them in their usual bay window with sun, so I got a grow light. They did pretty well.

Last year I put them in the bay window with grow light and they did better.
