I live in Ohio and started various corkscrew willows outdoors. How do I winterize, can I leave outside, do I continue to water?

If the tree is native to your area they are well adapted to you climate and should be possible to keep outdoors in winter.

Normal precautions that we normally do for native trees is to put the tree on the ground away from direct cold winds. Watering is done in the same way as the rest of the year only when the soil apears to be dry. In my climate it means only one or two waterings in the whole winter.

Thanks for responding. Since it is a willow, it requires more water. I will keep them outside and water occasionally. Thanks again.

Yes, willows generally do require more water than most trees in summer. But after all they are decidious which means that the uptake is very limited in winter. Obviously, since they often grow on very wet ground or seasonal flooding ground they can handle more water than most trees in winter. But that is really a question about coping, not requiring. When the tree is leaf less you will notice much less water is needed.
