Beginner seeking care advice - please help my tree! was created by orodruin

Hello,
I've noticed a pattern on the forum of beginner bonsai caretakers asking for help to keep their first trees alive and I'm not exception!
I just purchased my first tree about 10 days ago, it's a Brazilian Forest Tree (pictures attached), and it seems less healthy than I like. I've tried to follow the care instructions from the nursery and guidance online. Although I took the pictures inside, it has been kept outside in moderate sunlight (I don't really have a great location for direct sun) and I've been watering it not on a schedule but just whenever the soil feels almost dry, which is about every 1-2 days.
My main concern is the number of yellowing and even brown leaves keeps increasing and I'm simply not experienced enough to know which element(s) of its care or environment are out of sorts. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. If more pictures or details are needed please let me know.

Much I have summarized here:
Note that BRT is the primadonna of the bonsai world and they complain a lot. Do not increase watering, keep moderately moist and do not fertilize and give it a week to stabilize.

Hello, it seems like it's not getting much light or it's just not used to the change yet, yellowing a few leaves is normal here and there.
Here in Brazil, believe it or not, this is a deciduous/semi-deciduous trees, so that can happen as you approach fall.
However they're kind of sensitive to even when you move them, so transportation to trigger some leaves to fall wouldn't surprise me, because the tree was used to a spot and now it changed drastically.
I'm glad your tree is outside, they like semi-shade or full-sun spots, however it does tell you when it's too hot, they would close the leaves in order to reduce transpiration.
A few days ago, I gave a friend of mine who's starting on the hobby a little BRT I got from cutting, and guess what happened? Yep, it shed the leaves, but the buds were growing, so it's just stress.
I know BRTs in my climate is not a challenge, so I think Leatherback video would be more usefull to you.
