Hello. I have a small willow cutting that I am hopeful to grow into a 名媛直播. I rooted the cutting in a container of water inside. It rooted and grew well in the water. Once I potted it a few weeks ago, the top part of the cutting started to brown. The branches are growing well now but I am unsure if I should remove the browned part of the trunk or leave it. Looking for advice on what to do as well as the science behind it. I did take it from the water inside, pot it, and immediately put it on the patio in full sun/partial shade without acclimating it to the sun and warm temperatures.

So moving it into full sun made it need more water than the newly formed roots could supply.
Just put it in a little bit more shaded place and let it recover.

Normal mistake, simple as Tropfrog putted, it didn't had enought roots yet to be on full sun, tree will transpire more water than it can collect.
