Succulents have the trouble of dry rot: There is so much moisture in the tissue that the rot just keeps spreading. So you need to trim back untill you only have healthy tissue. Then leave it to dry for AT LEAST a week, to get a nice dry cover. Plant in a pot. The potting substrate normally is somewhat moist of itself, and you do not need to water at first. (You have one picture where you see small roots in the air: THe tree will push roots). After 2 weeks or so, water.
