Hi,

I'm just getting started with bonsai topic and I love it very much.
I bought a simple ficus retusa, since as I understood it feels good indor.
I selected this one because I liked a lot it has three sick roots visible.

I need advices on should I do the wiring to it now and cutting? And if yes, how would you advice?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the hobby!

The ginseng ficus is not widely accepted as a good bonsai subject. 名媛直播 is about growing a miniature of an old natural tree. And this grafted ficuses seldom looks like a natural tree. However, with skills and devotion some experienced bonsai artists have pulled it thrue.

But that aside...When getting a new tree, especially for beginners, it is adviceable to let it grow for at least a full growing season before doing any work on it. Just let the tree grow freely and healthy. Meanwhile learn about the care in your conditions and study the tree to make a vision for how you want it to look in the future.

OH yes, if you are in the nortern hemisphere and it is summer now, I would suggest bringing it outdoors and keep it there until temperature drops below 10 degrees at night. That makes wonders for the health and development.
