I'm at Uni and I went back home to visit for 2 days and my tree seems happy but I've noticed some branches and leaves have started to turn colour.

I always keep it inside and mist it 1 once to every 2 times I water it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, not sure if it's just changing with the seasons (do indoor bonsai do that?)

Looks like a happily growing tree. You do not mean the reddisch leaves at the end of the branches? that is fresh growth.

Nope.

The answers is no and no. Nothing to do with season or types. It has to do with the amount of sun it gets. Same happens more or less on most plants (which in a natral environment is conected to season). If the red do not fade into green by time it may be a problem. For now it looks healthy.

This is due to the new growth. As these young leaves mature they will turn green.

If your tree is suffering from nitrogen deficiency the leafs will not turn green.
