I went out to water my Juniper bonsai today and it had faded tips I am unsure why this has occurred. Is it dying, Underwatered, Root Rot, or the sun harming it? I am unsure and would like any tips on what it may be. I have done some research and I am not sure.

I cant see what you are referring to. The stones are not doing any good for it, but it looks ok. It is a living plant and leaves and needles do fade and die, so I can't see much wrong with it. Stop panicking and carry on. The sun will not harm it Junipers love the sun.

Is there proper draining in the pot? I see water where the rocks are but if its a sealed compartment or not i cannot see. If the soil drains well i would guess it was under watered some while back, 4 to 6 weekend ago. The rest of the foilage seem good. Cut of the dried tips and I think it will recover.

The picture is pretty unclear. It looks in your picture like growing tips which are always a little lighter than the mature foliage. Are you sure this is not just that?
