Hello!

I just found some small webs in my juniper and I am wondering if I have spider mites? I washed the tree and removed the webs so i don't have a picture. Any thoughts would be great. Thank you!

Webs can be made from all different arachids. Not necesary spider mites and not necessary bad for your tree. In fact most arachids are welcome in my trees as many of them can prey on different pests.

Some other signs that you may have spider mites include:

Yellowing or stippling on leaves
Leaves with a dry or papery texture
Fine webbing on leaves or between leaves and stems
Tiny, moving specks on leaves (these are the mites themselves)

Every sign above can be signes of other issues as well except for the spider mites itselfs. Start to look for them, you may need a loupe to see them.
