Hello
I'm new to bonsai tree craft. I was wondering if I can create new branches from these stumps and how to do so if its possible. Also I want to make its bushy rather then tall. (needs to be wired) I've had this tree for 1 month.
Thanks in advance

Trees grows branches where they want not where you want. The only way for you to decide where to get branches is by grafting.
Your tree is a fukten tea tree. A tree considered very hard to grow even among experienced people. I would suggest that you focus on keeping it alive. No pruning, no wiering, no repotting for at least a year.

Thank you for your input. I already repotted it (seems to love it so far). I did however put half gravel and other half bonsai/cactus soil I didn't have better available in the area I live in.

You cannot judge success in repotting in Less than a month. Now, if this tree falls you will not know if it is due to repotting or your General care and environment.
What was the reason for repotting?

It was so small and the pot itself was very low quality with some cracks.

Did you do any root work or just uppotted into a bigger pot and added soil around the old root ball?
