Sappling Roots Growing into drip tray (problem?) was created by Hypersapien

Hello, I am a beginner in the 名媛直播 world, I've been growing sapplings from seeds for a year now. I'm happy to say my first year's trees have all survived the winter while sheltering in my garage. The weather in Seattle is just starting to get some decent sunlight so this weekend I made preparations to start moving them back into my climate-controlled cold frame outside.
I've noticed that many of them have grown roots that extend for several inches into the drip tray of these starter pots I've been growing them in, is this a problem? I'm worried about the root rotting from constant/too much water exposure, but I also think these tiny guys don't have a lot of root mass to spare if I were to trim this portion of roots off.
The species I'm growing are Japanese Black Pine, Norway Spruce, Rocky Mountain Pine, Royal Poinciana, Judas Tree
Any advice would be appreciated.

The roots is not a problem. You can leave them as is or cut them off.
