My girlfriend got me a juniper. It's clearly young, it's in a small plastic pot. Here's my problem- I have nowhere to keep it outside. I could keep it at my parents house and visit once a week? It's around 61 degrees by the windows of my apartment, could I keep it there? I'm brand new at this, and I'm not sure how to tackle it. I did read through the page here on junipers, but I got a 404 when I tried to download the juniper pdf. Anyway, thanks for any help!

No, you cannot keep it in 61 degrees. No you cannot look after it once a week, at least not in summer.

Take it back to the seller and ask if you can returnera it.

Do you think it'd be ok for a month? I might be moving into an apt with a balcony towards the end of january.

If it is summer where you are, it may srvive a month indoors if it is winter, absolutelly not.

What if I got a grow light for it? What would kill it- the temperature or lack of light?

The lack of necessary dormancy is what kills indoor junipers in winter.
