Will my bonsai survive?

The cold weather seems to have killed one of my bonsais, could it bounce back and what could I do to help it?

That plant which looks like a Juniper has been dead for a while. Cold did not kill it

I totally agree with Geoff.
Looking at the pictures, I cannot think that you are in an area that ever gets too cold for junipers. Those areas is in deep frost for months in winter and should be totally frosen all of december.
You did not mention your location or how cold it has been, so we cannot tell for sure.
I think your tree died because of dehydration during the summer or early authum. Most likelly totally dead without any chanse to recover. But anyway, I would keep it until late spring to see if there are any life left. If it sprouts back it will be very weak. Recover to full health wilk take a few years. Growing to become the same size tree again in that pot will take 10-20 years.
