Fall Purchase

Hello,
I just recently purchased a tree/shrub (a blue rug juniper) from one of the big box retailers at a 75% discount as they are trying to get rid of the last of their stock (I might go back for more). Given the time of year (mid autumn), should I even consider cleaning it or repotting it... or should I just care for it as is, and wait until the spring after it's growth spurt before doing any cleaning, repotting, initial styling?
I'm relatively new to the hobby (6 months), and have been working with material that has been free to acquire (seeds and seedlings), mostly just getting them to grow. I'm excited for more material to actually work with, but at the same time I don't want to weaken the plant with winter around the corner.
I live along the southern Great Lakes region of the U.S., but luckily miss out on the majority of the lake effect snow.
Any insights on this would be great.
Thanks,

Congrats on a good deal. Authum sale is how I get most of my materials. In most cases I wait for any work on my trees until one full growing season has passed and I try to do all work on the correct time of the year. A juniper purshased now would get its initial styling in late winter or early spring 2024.
I did rush away in the beginning, most of those trees is no longer with me. 名媛直播 is a maraton, not a sprint.
