Hello,
As first time caretakers of a bonsai, that we bought back in March this year, we hope that someone can help! Our tree is a 6-year old Serissa japonica/foetida/snowrose. It hasn't flowered since we got it, but during the last month or so, it has started getting a few flowers. But just one at a time, then it falls off, and a new one appears some days later. Is this normal?
Furthermore a lot of the leaves are rather wrinkled and not "smooth" as when we bought it, as well of some of the leaves turning yellow. See the attached photos
About the care: it stays in a south-orientated balcony (we recently moved it inside, to the other side of the window) in a mediterranean-continental dry climate. We try to water on an irregular basis determined by the humidity of the soil, and have been giving liquid fertiliser approximately every three weeks until the end of September.
We have been wondering whether the lack of humidity might be the cause, but we don't know how to solve it or if that's the actual problem.
Thank you in advance!
