Is my bonsai past saving?

I had to leave my bonsai with my sister while I was away and unfortunately during the heatwave it was left in the sun and was under watered. All of the leaves turned crispy and shrivelled but didn’t fall off (in the picture I have begun to pull of the dead leaves). Please help me, I have had this bonsai for a while and it’s my favourite plant but I’m worried it’s past saving.

All of us have stories of leaving plants with somebody who forgets to water them.
It may revive, but a lot of it will be dead. Put it outside in partial shade and water it enough to keep the soil damp. Partial shade may mean it is sheltered from rain, so check it even if it rains heavily.
Good luck.
