Hawthorn leaves turning brown was created by Si Guy

So my hawthorn tree I collected this spring was doing very well. I had it in the shade up until about two months ago. I had to move it, and put it in a sunnier location. recently, almost all the leaves have started to go brown. I have been watering it, and fertilized it 3 months ago. Should I fertilize it? What could be wrong? I have moss over the substrate, and there has been some grass coming from it, but I have been picking it.

Thank you in advance.

Impossible to tell without a picture and your location.

chances are your hawthorn never made new roots and is now starting to die. Not much you can do except care for it and hope.
