Hello,
I am new to the Empire and need a bit of help.
I am hoping to bring back to health what I believe to be a japanese juniper .
The friend which gave it to me kept it indoors in low light conditions and most likely overwatered it. Will junipers come back to life? the tip of a branch is soft and wilty unlike the rest .
Should I keep it outdoors in the shade ,it's been moved to a bright window with a bit of filtered sun.
Thanks for your help.

Hello and welcome
Without a picture it's impossible to say anything but.... trees ( and every living thing here on earth) that are dead can't be brought back to life and a juniper that was kept indoors is going to die sooner or later.
If there is still green left, move it outdoors asap, first shaded then gradually into full sun. Do not fertillise, repot or fiddle with it untill it regains its strength ( if at all)
But again, a picture would help to see if its a lost cause or not
