Hi all.

I put some maple seeds into the fridge back in January but they didn’t sprout. They have now decided to grow so I am glad I left them. Problem is what do I do now ? Leave them in the fridge in the dark with the tub lid off or move them to a cold but light room in the house?
I will try and upload a photo

Thanks

If you are in the northern hemisphere, put them outside in partial shade today, then move to more sun gradually.

While doing that, read up on bonsai care over winter, and find a local group to see how they handle winter care.

Before you move them anywhere, make sure the seeds are planted in a pot with substrate. Root down, seed just below the surface (Or, if there are leaves visible, with the leaves above the soil surface). Once planted do not press the substrate down, but water the pot to compact the soil. (Pressing down breaks roots). Then move into a bright spot with morning or late afternoon sun.
