My new golden willow tree leaves are yellowing and browning. I keep it outside as you're meant to it's been raining so been getting best water for it. I'm using bio-gold. I doubt it's leaf burn as not been that hot also leaves aren't crispy, I can't smell any root rot and really not been enough rain to cause it. It's still in the soil from the shop as it was healthy when bought. Hopefully you guys can help and I accept I could be wrong in my conclusions

it can only be a lack of water, since the willow loves to have its roots in water

I tried to add picture directly from phone when I made the topic but they wouldn't attach for some unknown reason

That makes more sense.

Hey, first off, where do you live?
Are you aware that Pseudolarix is a decidous species, and actually go yellow on fall (that's where the name come from)?

the substrate looks very dry. Are you sure you are watering enough?

Note that the tree is not in the pot with the mostly non organic soil. It is in the pot with fully organic soil in front of it. I cannot tell if that soil is dry based on the photo. :)
