Hi all! total newb here but hoping to start a new hobby with some blooming bonsai azaleas(?!:D) i recently was gifted some red and white ones that were shipped with gorgeous blooms. at least 10-15 on each tree. they came from CA and i live in southern TX. i put them on my open porch outside on Friday and misted them both every afternoon since then, every day, and today, on Sunday all the blooms were pretty much collapsed:( i am assuming they need WAY more water ? it has been low 90s in the day and high 60s at night. they only get direct sun light in the early mornings (~8-10 or 11am) after that they are in the shade for the rest of the day. they are also in 8inch pots and do have humidity trays. i do NOT see fertilizer on the soil on these 2, should i go ahead and add some since they came with it? i was going to wait a few month...thanks in advance for any and all help and tips and tricks for this newbie!

Hello and welcome
First of all: this is an international forum/ community, your local abbreviations and temp measurements mean nothing to the vast majority of the world, so please use international standards ( Celsius)
Second, misting and humidity trays are totally useless. You give your plant water by using a garden hose or watering can, giving the plant a “ shower” untill water spills from the drainage hole underneath the pot. It’s probably a bit dried out by now, so best is to repeat a few times with some time in between.
Concerning fertiliser: wait till you see good growth on your plant and start then ( btw, fertiliser is not food for a plant , sunlight is)

Flowers only last a short time. Depending on the species you may be able to get more blooms by cutting off the penicillin, the part of the flower left after the bloom falls off. This fools the plant into thinking all its efforts to produce seeds were wasted and it needs to try again. It will need lots of sunshine and some fertilizer.

Water it as in the other replies.

i was afraid of overwatering them, as that is usually my problem. how can I tell the difference of doing that to a bonsai, vs it dying of thirst, specifically on these azaleas? i would assume it'd show on the flowers/leaves first? and that's what i was thinking these over night collapsed blooms were 'telling' me.

but now knowing to water until it drains out of the bottom hole, that rally helps!

.... the penicillin, the part of the flower left after the bloom falls off.

That should have been pedicil. I need to read what text correction miscorrects for me.

when you water an azalea, you must avoid wetting the flowers, because it lasts less long
