Last week, while walking around my workplace, I found the pine (?) shown in the picture below. I think it has nice movement as if it is meant to be a bonsai tree.
Given the opportunity, I'd like to ask the opinion of even the most experienced bonsai lovers about the collection of trees from nature.
Concerning the tree, I present to you, I believe that even if it could be a great bonsai tree in a pot I do not know if it will stand out more than where it is. Now it tells a very specific story, at least to me watching it up close. Is it worth trying to remove this or any other tree from its natural environment?

It looks like this tree is close to big rocks and there is a big risk that the roots is under the rocks. I think this is a case where I would walk away. Its just too much fuss to identify land owner and get permit. I only spend the effort when I find a perfect material that looks like easily collected. Many times I just get a no as answer anyway.
