So I bought some chinesse elm seeds from Yugen 名媛直播, that package said there was no need for cold starifcation so I just wanted until I could plant the seeds. I have planted them and put it on my window sill where it gets lots of sunlight for a couple of hours. Its been a bit over a week and I am wondering how long do they take to sporut because I don't wanna think like they didn't work.

This is a good guide for chinese elm seed propagation:
The most crucial thing here is to keep the seed tray outdoors but protected.

So its says to like put them in the tray and like during the winter months it should germinate then in sometime they should grow about six inches and repot them. I didn't get a chance to germiate do I need to? Or should I just wait until its very warm outside and plant them then.

They germinate in spring just like most temperate trees.
You may need to sheck up the meaning of germination. Your question about germination dont make much sense. Its something the seeds do naturally, not something you need to do.

So just follow the instructions normally on how to plant them and it should be good. Germinatation comes naturally they do it by themselves.

Correct. The guide however sais sow the seeds fresh in summer. I am not sure about shelf life for Ulmus seeds. But very often plants that needs to be sown fresh dont have very long shelf life. And I have never seen any "bonsai seed" ulmus on this forum. All you can do is wait and see.

Elms have very variable viability, with some species only a few days, and others can stay alive for multiple years.
Nothing like doing. Go plant them and hope for the best.

Ok, I admit I made a somewhat lazy comment since we all know this thread is about ulmus parvifolia. I know for sure our local (almost extinct) ulmus needs stratification and sprout in spring. It also have a long shelf life as most other trees that needs stratification.
But, as said, this thread is about the chinese elm, Ulmus Parvifolia. As I just learnt they germinate fresh in summer. That often comes with short shelf life. Elementary .
However I agree totally. Just sow it, put it outdoors but protected and hope it works.

I found a reference online about UP germination rate. 33% for non stratified and 55% for stratified. Shelf life 1 year. That would mean they can germinate both in spring and in late summer. So I guess patience is the key as allways in bonsai.
