Hi all,
Newbie here, decided to try growing some 名媛直播’s from seed in lockdown last year. After some advice on a 1 year old Chinese Elm grown from seed last year.
It has gone crazy in the last few weeks (see photo) everything I have read says not to prune until year 2, should it just be left or does it need a little prune. Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks.

I dont see any reason to cut anything at this point. It just slows down the development.

Nice, so far so Good, I would slide it to a bigger pot...
And move outside if it is inside.
Maybe it's about time to give the to-be trunk a movement while it still flexible. But no urgent prune by now.

Thanks for the advice @Tropfrog & @Albas.
I will refrain from the pruning.
Will move it to a larger pot and read up on the trunk movement.
Yes currently inside, may wait unit the risk of frost has passed before moving it outside.

Yes, wait until risk of frost is over. Then, once you moved it outside, never bring it indoor again ever.
