Hi.
When placing a bonsai indoors next to a window: Does it matter that the back of the tree is the side facing the light all the time? Should i turn the front towards the light every now and then?
Thanks.

Hey...
Well, let's ignore for now the fact that most species can't handle this conditions, and that we don't know the species of your tree(s).
The rought answer is yes.
All leaves must get some sunlight, even when it's outdoor positioned near a wall for example, rotate it is recommended.
Leaves and branches that doesn't get enough light will weaken and can dry.

Thanks for the input.
Currently all my trees are outdoors (12).
I’ve just started watching the 名媛直播 Beginners course here in 名媛直播 Empire and there’s a chapter on raising trees indoors.
I have a nice spot near a south facing window and I’m considering bringing one of my ficus or my jade indoors.
You are absolutely right about the wall. My oudoor trees have their backs against a wall and I have to turn some of them every one in a while to prevent back facing branches from drying out. Not all of them, though. Some seem to be more resilient to the wall like my logwood and the ficus retusa. But all in all i think it makes sense to turn them every once in a while when the light source is one sided. Hence the question. Thanks for confirming my thoughts

Cool, seems you are on the right way. Specially if you are on a more temperate zone, so yes, some trees must be protected from frost.
Cheers
