My husband bought me this beautiful Juniper 名媛直播 in late December. It was purchased in Laredo, TX and now resides in the Southeastern mountains of New Mexico.
I have been watering when the soil appears dry, and it has been inside, in a window that is eastern/southeastern facing. I’ve just discovered that perhaps it should have been outside this entire time - and have had it outside yesterday and today (brought in overnight due to extremely high winds). I’m attaching pictures of what it looks like now - it seems very dried out all of a sudden and very brittle/delicate. Is there any hope for it?!

Hello and welcome
As you say , it should have been and always has to be outside. There is no such thing as an indoor tree!! Bring it outside , water thoroughly with a garden hose or watering can untill water spills from the drainage hole underneath, repeat when soil feels dry to the touch. If you see new growth it survived, if not...
(BTW, this is an international forum, local abbreviations do not mean anything for the rest of the world.. )

Thank you! I’ll take your advice and hope to see some new growth!
(Also, apologies! I usually spell out states, not sure why I didn’t with that one!) can altitudes have any effect on them? I referenced where it came from and where it resides because it’s about 6000 feet higher here than it was in Texas. Thank you, again!

For those using international standard 6000 feet is approximately 1800 meter .
I am sure indoor growing is a bigger problem than altitude. New Mexico sounds as a warm place to me. If so, the altitude is proboably a benefit to the tree as they like proper cold dormancy period.
