Indoor Juniper Care

I have recently been gifted a small juniper (I believe it is a creeping juniper based on pictures from another post). Unfortunately I cannot take a picture of it right now, but I will try to upload one later.
I live in an apartment and do not have a yard to put the tree outside. Does anyone have any recommendations for keeping this species indoors? From what I have read it is at least not ideal, but have also read that it won’t survive indoors. I currently have it next to a window because that is probably the coldest spot in the apartment. I was thinking that maybe I could periodically open the window to cool it down, or would that temperature fluctuation be worse for it?
Should I get a grow light? At least for spring/summer or all year round?
Thank you.

That’s what I was afraid of. The more I read about trying to keep a juniper inside the more that sounded like it’s fait.
Off to a new home with outdoor space.
Thanks.

Unfortunately I do not. I am hoping the neighboring church may let me put it on their property.
